Knack is my go-to for gifting my in-laws and co-workers. The gift sets are expertly curated and feature small (often local) businesses. For business gifting Knack can print your logo into the unboxing experience! Knack is a Seattle-based ecommerce company based in Georgetown and run by Laura Jennings.
Seattle-based Catherine Honoré Jones’ company Le Petit Chose is my go-to for baby gifts (in any season). Catherine just launched a new, organic collection which includes her flagship product, sleeping sacks. The sleeping sacks are high-quality and expandable for growing babies!

Yo Soy Candle is a handmade, eco-conscious, affirmation candle hand poured in small batches using a creamy 100% certified kosher soy wax. Find them online, at 8 Limbs Yoga in Capitol Hill, or at Smith Tower in Pioneer Square.
Leslie will donate $2 per candle to The Cupcake Girls, a non-profit that she partners will regularly.

Macrina is run by founder Leslie Mackie and has five locations. Macrina has been my neighborhood bakery through several Seattle homes, first in Belltown then in Capitol Hill! Check out their weekend brunch and order from their holiday menu for your parties!
FareStart transforms lives, disrupts poverty and nourishes communities through food, life skills and job training. I’m proud to volunteer for FareStart and there are so many ways to help! Hood Famous Bakeshop is a small Seattle bakery that specializes in desserts featuring Filipino and Asian-Pacific flavors. They’re best known for cheesecakes, including the flagship ube cheesecake and the chocolately champorado cheesecake (pictured here)!
